One of the largest museums in the Western world devoted exclusively to Asian art, the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco showcases fascinating exhibitions that lets visitors travel back through thousands of years to East Asia and the Pacific Islands. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday 10am to 5pm, with extended evening hours every Thursday until 9pm.
Special feature evening events at the museum, under the title MATCHA, include showcases and performances by contemporary artists. The last for the season is Kularts on November 2nd — don't miss out!
