NYC: Hungry? Go Here. Now.

New YorkNew York Indulgence

csbc.jpgHaving lived on Clinton Street many years ago, when bistros and bakeries were pretty much non-existent, I was looking forward to getting reacquainted with my old 'hood (and some older friends) over Sunday Brunch at Clinton Street Baking Company. The companionship was grand, but equally as enchanting was my order of pancakes — thick, yet light and fluffy, cooked to perfection, and drizzled with heavenly maple butter. Owners, and husband and wife team, Neil Kleinberg and DeDe Lahman, also prepare a decked-out lunch and dinner menu that's sure to tickle the most finicky palette. Voted Best Pancakes, Mightiest Muffins, Best LES Buttermilk Biscuits, Best Brunch, and Best Hamburger by various New York magazines, check it out and taste what all the buzz is about.

Being an avid brunch-goer, I'm always looking for good places to go for weekend brunch. Surprisingly, I haven't been to Clinton Street Baking Company so I'm looking forward to checking it out and trying the "mighty muffins".
