Fantastically fresh, elegantly presented, and always served with a wink and a smile, sushi served at Murasaki is a perpetual delight. Sasaki-san, the master sushi chef of Murasaki, has run this restaurant for over 18 years and is constantly on hand to recommend the most choice cuts of fish to those seated at his bar. The menu selection is for Japanese and Edo sushi style purists and does not include superfluous flair (read pretentious jalapeno wasabi mayo concoctions). The ankimo (monk fish liver) served in a peppy ponzu sauce is a great way to open up a meal. Uni haters will be rapidly converted with the fresh and smoky-buttery sea urchin nigiri delivered before your salivating palate. Check the daily specials for fresh and tasty treats or trust Sasaki-San for his omakase (chef's choice) selections.
