Broadway's most anticipated drama, The Vertical Hour, is your classic love story, really. A young American war-reporter-turned-academic travels abroad and finds herself swept away by the affections of a handsome European suitor — and his father — in a post-September 11th world.
OK, so maybe it's a little saucier and has a few more thrilling twists, but the theme of love and understanding amongst a cultural divide is as classic as they come. The all-star cast, including four-time Academy Award® nominee Julianne Moore and Golden Globe® nominee Bill Nighy, is under the brilliant direction of Academy Award winning Sam Mendes (American Beauty). Previews start Thursday, Nov. 9.
