SF: When You're In the Mood for Sausage

New York IndulgenceSan Francisco

rosamunde.jpgDuring a late night of drinking in the lower Haight, you might have the munchies for some quick chow. Sure you could head to the local fast food joint, but might we suggest something slightly more gourmet? Get some sausages. Not just any sausages, but those at Rosamunde Sausage Grill, conveniently located next to the popular bar Toronado. You could be all boring and order a normal frankfurter in a bun, but discerning connoisseurs will opt for more daring choices. We're personally big fans of the wild boar sausage, and we've heard good things about the duck-fig and rabbit sausages as well. Add some grilled peppers or mango chutney topping to that, and you've got heaven on a bun. And for less than $6 a serving, feel free to go for seconds.
