If you're wondering what that even means, here's a recommended menu of old school stand-bys; wiener schnitzel, which earns a heavy rep, is lightened with a potato-cucumber salad and lingonberries; wild striped bass gets some zing from thyme and a riesling sauerkraut; and of course, what Austro-German meal would be complete without strudel?
