NYC: Best Summer Concerts & Festivals
We're lucky New Yorkers this July, with loads of free shows and rarely-seen artists making there way to the five boroughs over the next few weeks. Here are some on the can't miss list:
• Fujiya & Miyagi and Ulrich Schnauss lay down dance beats at the South Street Seaport on July 6th
• Live Earth on July 7th — featuring pretty much every band you can think of, from Ludacris to The Police
• Buffalo Tom playing good old indie rock at Bowery Ballroom on July 13th
• Slint play their breakthrough album Spiderland in its entirety
• Os Mutantes play their unique brand of politically-charged Brazilian psychedelia at Lincoln Center on July 17th
