Next time you have a few friends coming into town or need to do arrange sort of "team-building" dinner for work, book a table at Do Hwa in the West Village. Jenny Kwak and her mother Myung Ja, also owners of Dok Suni in the East Vilage, have brought some fantastic, home-style Korean cooking to the city in a not-too-trendy-but-just-stylish-enough space that's perfect for groups. Traditional dishes like Heymulpajun (seafood pancake with shrimp, squid, oysters and chili pepper) and Japchae (sesame glass noodles) are superb, but the real fun starts when you request a table with a built-in grill and start cooking your own food (like the Bulgogi, which has an outta sight garlic marinade). Reservations recommended.
