If you were a homesick Italian, where would you choose to eat? With that idea in mind, we can only recommend Ristorante Ideale in North Beach with its elegant and flavorful homemade breads, pastas and entrees that are sure to take you by the hand on a guide you on a delightful flavor tour through Italy. The risottos and raviolis are sublime and the the ambiance is comfortably intimate without excess flair or pomp that one might otherwise expect in North Beach to draw tourists. Don't ask us, however, for tips on finding parking in the neighborhood — we cab it there and avoid the hassle.
